U.S. Troops Wounded in Iran Conflict Rise by 32 to 268

The U.S. Defense Casualty Analysis System now lists 268 service members wounded in Overseas Operations beginning July 7, up from 236 one day earlier. The July 31 update records 238 Army, 21 Navy and nine Air Force personnel wounded in action. The official database and two contemporaneous reports show the total rose by 32 from the July 30 count, with the increase entered under the separate category used for recent U.S. operations linked to the war against Iran. Army personnel account for nearly nine out of every ten service members listed as wounded in the category.
