Duvdevan Arrests Five-Terrorist Cell in Qabatiya Before Planned Attack

IDF Duvdevan fighters arrested five alleged terrorists in Qabatiya before dawn Friday after a Shin Bet intelligence effort. The operation took place under the Menashe Brigade. The IDF said the cell was advancing plans for an attack against Israeli civilians and security forces, and that troops detained all five within ten minutes of entering the suspected locations. Searches of the suspects’ homes uncovered a concealed M16 rifle and additional weapons and military equipment. The detainees were transferred for further questioning, and the official statement reported no Israeli casualties.
