Foreign Ministry and Huckabee Reject Miliband’s Gaza Medicine Claims

Israel’s Foreign Ministry said medicines face no restrictions entering Gaza and none are being blocked, rejecting British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband’s claims about patients awaiting treatment. The ministry said 22,500 tons of medical supplies have entered since the ceasefire began and 200 Gazans left for treatment in the preceding two weeks. It added that Britain participates in the International Gaza Support Center, which facilitates medical-aid deliveries. U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee separately accused the British government of advancing allegations without facts and of anti-Jewish hostility.
