COGAT Approves Tents and Winter Equipment for Gaza After Survey

Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories approved transfers of new tents to Gaza after an online weekend survey found more than 80% of participants identified tents as a winter need. A COGAT representative said the transfers are expected to be coordinated with the United Nations and international organizations. The authority will also approve additional winter equipment and items supporting hygiene and sanitation infrastructure. COGAT said Israel remains committed to improving living and housing conditions, while Hamas's refusal to disarm obstructs further development.
