Kushner Says U.S. and Israel Agree on Gaza End State Despite Election Friction

Jared Kushner said the United States and Israel agree on the intended end state in Gaza, while attributing current friction to Israel's election campaign. Speaking at a Kyiv press conference, Kushner defended the slow progress toward Gaza's next phase and his work with Steve Witkoff. He said Hamas's militarization had made demilitarization difficult, while stressing that Washington remained determined to continue the effort. Kushner said Israel had a "crazy election"; the Knesset vote is scheduled for October 27.
