Yashar, led by former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot, formally submitted its 40-candidate slate for the 26th Knesset and presented it at an evening event in Rosh Haayin. Former Shin Bet director Yoram Cohen is second, followed by former minister Orit Farkash-Hacohen, education entrepreneur Adi Altschuler, former minister Matan Kahana and Chili Tropper. The top ten includes five women, fulfilling the party’s gender-parity pledge. Eisenkot said the list brings together figures from security, education, economics and civil society, and urged opposition parties to coordinate behind whichever party earns the broadest public support.
