Elihav Sasson won Israel’s “MasterChef: Dream Team” on Wednesday night, 15 years after finishing as runner-up in an earlier season. Haim Cohen placed second and Gal Kaspers third in the all-stars finale, which asked the contestants to present a culinary journey. Sasson served smoked artichoke hearts with yellow-tomato and blood-orange gazpacho, followed by sea-bass kokla in a zucchini flower with bouillabaisse. His final ma’amoul ice-cream sandwich earned another perfect score and decided the contest. Judge Yuval Ben Neria called it one of the best desserts he had tasted, and Sasson left with the MasterChef trophy.
