IDF Chief Orders Legal and Security Review of ‘Naza’ Film

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir convened senior commanders to consider the military's response to the ‘Naza’ documentary. He ordered a multidisciplinary team led by the Planning Directorate to develop options with Israeli and international experts, and instructed the Military Advocate General to examine possible legal measures concerning the film and those involved. Zamir also directed a review of possible classified-material leaks and information-security implications. He called for coordinated international public diplomacy with the Foreign Ministry, Justice Ministry and National Public Diplomacy Directorate, saying the film's campaign was aimed at the State of Israel, not only the IDF.
