Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would advance two bills to punish people he says slander IDF soldiers abroad. He said the first would allow citizenship to be revoked, while the second would increase twentyfold the damages available in defamation suits. Netanyahu named Democrats chairman Yair Golan, former military advocate general Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi and NAZA filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. He said he expects every Zionist Knesset faction to support the proposals, which were announcements and had not yet been enacted.
