The Justice Ministry's Legal Aid system urged bereaved families, captivity survivors and hostage families affected by October 7 to examine pension-fund disability claims. The notice says anyone in those groups who stopped working or reduced their workload during the past three years because of their health should submit a loss-of-work-capacity claim online to their insurer or pension provider. Applicants may file independently or seek representation from Legal Aid lawyers through separate ministry forms for each group. Legal Aid said it has opened more than 3,600 cases since October 7 for affected families and returnees.
