Microsoft Names Ohad Jassin Head of Israel R&D Center

Microsoft has appointed Ohad Jassin to lead its Israel research and development center, with the change due to take effect at the start of November. He will succeed Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk, who has led the center for six and a half years and is leaving Microsoft after 13 years. Jassin joined Microsoft in 2014 and has worked on the expansion of its Israeli engineering teams in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, software and hardware. He will continue as a corporate vice president overseeing Microsoft's international sovereign cloud work within Azure while taking charge of the Israeli center.
