Israeli Americans Screen Oct. 7 Footage Outside New York Premiere of ‘Naza’

The Israeli-American Council protested outside Lincoln Center on Saturday as ‘Naza’ premiered at the New York Film Festival, with more than 50 demonstrators and mobile LED trucks projecting October 7 footage and portraits of those killed. The council says the documentary makes serious allegations about the IDF's conduct in Gaza while ignoring contradicting findings and the context of the October 7 attack. Israel's Consulate in New York also campaigned outside the venue, with signs reading "Critical thinking required" and "Propaganda disguised as a documentary." Consul General Ofir Akunis called the filmmakers "disgraceful people" and said Israel would not stay silent over their incitement against its soldiers.
