A report published Saturday identified Idan David, the former chairman of state-owned Ayalon Highways, as the executive questioned by Lahav 433 investigators on Thursday. Police had announced the case without naming the suspect, listing suspected fraud, breach of trust, forgery, use of a forged document and submission of a false affidavit. Investigators searched his home and office, seized documents and digital media, and released him under restrictive conditions. The case concerns information supplied for his appointment, including financial figures that differed from company statements; David has previously denied the allegations. The investigation remains ongoing.
