Sa'ar Declares UK Green Leader Zack Polanski Barred From Israel

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced Sunday evening that UK Green Party leader Zack Polanski would be barred from entering Israel. The Foreign Ministry said the decision was coordinated with the relevant authorities, following the party's adoption earlier Sunday of a policy equating Zionism with racism. The ministry said the resolution legitimizes armed struggle against Israel and calls for a Palestinian state 'from the river to the sea,' language it described as seeking Israel's destruction. It also called the text antisemitic under the IHRA definition, saying it denies the Jewish people's right to self-determination.
