Israel Announces Water and Food Aid for Panama Earthquake Victims

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar instructed Israel's Foreign Ministry, through the embassy in Panama, to provide immediate humanitarian aid after the earthquake. Drinking water will be supplied to residents of Playa Venao facing shortages following damage to water and electricity infrastructure. The operation is being coordinated with Panama City municipality and local authorities, which will help transport and distribute the supplies. Basic food purchased in cooperation with Panama's Israeli community will also be sent to the affected area, while the ministry and embassy continue assisting disaster victims and Israelis there.
