ZAKA Opens Field Clinic After Colombia Earthquake

ZAKA's International Division opened a temporary field clinic in Colombia to provide medicine, initial treatment and immediate care after Monday's magnitude-7.4 earthquake. The Israeli humanitarian organization said its delegation includes search-and-rescue personnel, doctors, engineers and specialists in honoring the dead, working alongside Colombian teams in Cali, Pereira, Chocó and other affected areas. South America commander Yosef Garmon said the team began work from the first moment to save lives and assist those in need. ZAKA is operating as Colombia coordinates additional Israeli assistance requested after the disaster.
