Vladimir Beliak Calls to Tie Haredi School Funding to Full Core Curriculum

MK Vladimir Beliak proposed ending state funding for educational institutions that do not teach the full core curriculum, as part of changes to Haredi education policy. In an October 10 statement, he said the plan would require legislative amendments and stronger oversight, alongside strengthening state Haredi education. He also proposed ending municipal-tax discounts, stipends for married Torah scholars, and daycare subsidies for people who neither work nor serve. He argued that experienced politicians should carry out the proposed changes.
