Kariv Challenges Government Over High-School Aid Allocation

Gilad Kariv criticized the government's allocation of high-school assistance in a statement published Tuesday evening. He alleged that, after October 7, support had been redirected from schools in northern Israel and the Negev toward Haredi and Religious Zionist schools. Kariv also criticized what he described as preferential funding for the state-religious education stream. He said that he, the Berl Katznelson Foundation and the State Education Watch had filed a petition against discrimination.
