Tur-Paz Calls for an End to Party Political Activity Under Public Funding

Moshe Tur-Paz called on Sunday for an end to party political activity under public funding. In a Hebrew statement published on October 11, he said publicly funded leaders should not take a political side. He named the Ariel youth movement’s secretary-general, directors of religious education networks and Haredi rabbis as groups to which his position should apply. “No political activity under public funding,” he wrote.
