Netanyahu Inspects Eastern Border Barrier and Warns Israel's Enemies

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inspected the barrier under construction on Israel’s eastern border on October 15 with Defense Minister Israel Katz and senior commanders. Speaking near Kibbutz Masada in the Jordan Valley, he said the project runs from the Yarmouk to Eilat and supplements deployed forces and operational plans. Netanyahu said those plans also address drones, while withholding operational details. He described extensive engineering and logistical work involving the IDF and reservists, and warned Israel’s enemies not to test the country. The visit included a briefing on strengthening border defenses and security systems.
