ClearSky CEO Says Review of 17 AI-Related Cyber Incidents Included Israeli Targets

ClearSky founder and CEO Boaz Dolev said Sunday that the company's researchers examined 17 cyber incidents involving artificial intelligence over the previous year, including attacks affecting Israeli organizations. Speaking at the CSC Forum in Rishon LeZion, he said the victims included governments, banks, cloud providers and industrial organizations. Dolev described AI performing stages of cyberattacks and said some operations can progress in seconds or minutes rather than hours or days. He recommended controls on requests to AI models, limits on their activity and human approval before sensitive actions such as deleting information, saying existing tools can stop some AI-enabled attacks.
