Herzog Sets October 20 Budapest Visit With Hungarian Leaders and Jewish Community

President Isaac Herzog's office announced an October 20 itinerary for a 12-hour diplomatic visit to Budapest. Hungarian President András Baka will receive him at Sándor Palace for talks on deepening cooperation and strengthening relations between the countries. Herzog will also meet Prime Minister Péter Magyar to discuss bilateral cooperation. He is scheduled to address the international Voice of the People conference, part of an initiative he established bringing together Jewish leaders and young people from Israel and the Diaspora to strengthen connections and discuss challenges facing the Jewish people. The visit will conclude with a meeting with Hungarian Jewish community leaders.
