Herzog Urges Cooperation Against Iran’s Terror Network in Budapest Talks With Baka

President Isaac Herzog called for cooperation against Iran and its radical proxies during talks with Hungarian President András Baka at Sándor Palace in Budapest on October 20. After private and expanded bilateral meetings, Herzog said the threat extended beyond the Middle East and required cooperation among countries committed to freedom. He thanked Hungary for its role in Israel’s relations with the European Union and for protecting Jewish life. Baka said the visit would strengthen ties with Hungary’s new leadership and reaffirmed a zero-tolerance policy toward antisemitism and continued practical cooperation with Israel.
