Iran Says Enriched Nuclear Material Will Remain Inside the Country

Iranian security council secretary Mohsen Rezaei told Pakistan's army chief Asim Munir on October 20 that Iran would keep all enriched nuclear material inside the country. He called the material a national asset for domestic use and said talks required Washington first to build trust and meet Iran's conditions. Munir said the shared border had reopened that morning. Separately, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran's regime would try to renew nuclear-bomb production and rebuild its proxy network. Netanyahu said he had discussed the issue with US President Donald Trump.
