Huckabee Welcomes Arrests in Heidi Levine Attack Investigation

U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee welcomed the arrests announced by Israel Police on October 19 in an investigation into weekend violence in the Binyamin area. In a post quoting the police statement, he described the development as positive in pursuing those who attacked Washington Post journalist Heidi Levine. Police said 10 suspects were arrested before dawn in an operation covering several incidents, including an attack on a foreign media worker and suspected attacks on foreign diplomats in Taybeh. Investigators seized evidence and several vehicles, and took the suspects for questioning; the statement did not link every detainee specifically to Levine's attack.
