Netanyahu Says He Directed IDF and Mossad to Pursue Iran’s Regime Overthrow

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on October 21 that he had directed the IDF, Mossad and other security branches to work toward overthrowing Iran’s regime. Speaking at the officer-course graduation at Bahad 1, he accused Iran of renewing efforts to develop nuclear bombs under Mojtaba Khamenei. Netanyahu argued that removing the regime was the way to eliminate that threat. A day earlier, Netanyahu said he had discussed eliminating the Iranian regime with U.S. President Donald Trump more than once.
