Fidan Warns New Iran Strike Would Widen Regional Conflict

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned on Friday that another military attack on Iran would spread war and conflict across the region. Speaking to reporters after R4+E3 talks in Istanbul, he rejected military intervention as a solution and said the participating countries opposed it. Fidan urged diplomacy rather than renewed military action to resolve the dispute. The R4 grouping comprises Türkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, while the E3 brings together Germany, the United Kingdom and France.
