George Deek Says Israel Condemns Deadly Church Attack in Jordan

George Deek, Israel’s special envoy to the Christian world, said on October 23 that Israel condemned the deadly attack on Christians attending a funeral at a church in Jordan’s Karak Governorate. He described the attack as terrorism against innocent worshippers and offered condolences to the bereaved families. At a Friday-evening government briefing, Jordan’s Public Security Director said seven people had been killed and 34 injured in the attack at the Greek Orthodox church in Hamoud.
