Rabbi Moshe Tzedaka Reportedly Signs Letter Opposing Votes for Shas

Rabbi Moshe Tzedaka, head of Porat Yosef Yeshiva, has reportedly signed a letter opposing votes for Shas over the party's reported willingness to enlist young men who are not studying Torah. Rabbi Benayahu Shmueli, who is close to Rabbi Tzedaka, reportedly worked to obtain his signature. Shas leader Aryeh Deri was reportedly seeking a visit that evening by Rabbis Moshe Maya and Yitzhak Yosef to persuade Rabbi Tzedaka to reconsider his position.
