IDF Says It Diverted Gaza City Strike Munition After Identifying Uninvolved People

The IDF said on October 25 that it diverted a munition during a strike targeting a terrorist from Hamas’s military wing in the Gaza City area. According to the military, the munition was redirected after uninvolved people were identified in the area, in an effort to reduce harm to them. The IDF said the incident was under review. It added that Southern Command troops remained deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and would continue operating to remove threats.
