3 Reported Killed in Israeli Strike Near Gaza’s Islamic University

Reports said 3 people were killed in an Israeli drone strike near the Islamic University in Gaza City on October 25. Initial reports described the target as a security position belonging to Hamas police and named the dead as Sami Baroud, Ashraf Dahlan and Shadi Abu Ataya. Later reports from Gaza described those killed as university security personnel, while Hamas said they were students. The accounts agree on 3 deaths but give different descriptions of the men’s roles and the position that was struck.
