Aura Agrees to Buy Bayit Bakfar for NIS 1.7 Billion

Aura announced an agreement to acquire full ownership of senior-housing company Bayit Bakfar for about NIS 1.7 billion, expanding beyond residential development and urban renewal. The consideration comprises approximately NIS 1.15 billion in cash and NIS 550 million in Aura shares, based on an agreed valuation of NIS 5.5 billion for Aura. Bayit Bakfar operates five senior-housing complexes with 975 units. Three projects in Be’er Yaakov, Modi’in and Kibbutz Usha could add 884 units, with the Usha project dependent on completing planning procedures; Bayit Bakfar would become wholly owned by Aura upon completion of the acquisition.
