Sunflower Reportedly Pays $200–300 Million Dividend as Mor Deal Remains Pending
Published
Sunflower, a private casino-game company operating in Tel Aviv, has reportedly distributed a dividend of $200–300 million to its shareholders. The payment was disclosed on October 28 and described as having taken place recently, without a specific payout date. The disclosure comes while a proposed investment by Mor remains pending. That transaction has been delayed, although it could proceed soon. Mor enlisted businessman Teddy Sagi to help examine the investment. Sagi is also expected to invest in Sunflower, as is Shestowitz Group. Those prospective investments have not been reported as completed transactions. An unnamed capital-market source estimated the company's monthly profit at approximately $80 million. That figure is an attributed estimate, rather than a company-announced financial result. The report gives a range for the distribution and does not specify an exact total. The company operates from Ben Avigdor Street in Tel Aviv. A February 16 report identified chief executive Ram Mizrahi and Ben Gofer as the people who established the company, which focuses on casino games for the American market. It also identified private investors Gigi Levy-Weiss, Tal Shoham and Elad Kushner.
