Israeli Startup Financing Exceeds $900 Million in October Tally

Israeli technology startups raised more than $900 million in October, according to a monthly financing tally published on November 1. The compilation puts fundraising by privately held Israeli technology companies at $11.9 billion for the first ten months of 2026. The October figure draws on publicly reported financing announcements. The tally cautions that companies operating in stealth or choosing not to disclose investments can leave the actual amount higher. It is a compilation of reported financing, including transactions with different structures, rather than a measure confined to newly issued equity. One of the largest components was Upwind’s $400 million Series C, announced on October 28. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, with Canapi Ventures joining existing investors. Upwind said the investment brought its total financing above $800 million and would support product and engineering expansion for its cloud and AI security platform. Capitolis announced $220 million in financing on October 6, comprising a $120 million Series E equity round at a $1.9 billion valuation plus debt. The company said the financing would support its acquisition of eSecLending and expand its capabilities and client network. Capitolis CEO Gil Mandelzis called the Series E “a great milestone for Capitolis.”
