El Al Sets Special Change and Cancellation Fees for Peak 2027 U.S. Travel

El Al has updated its change and cancellation conditions for selected peak travel dates between Israel and the United States in 2027. The policy applies to tickets purchased from November 4, 2026, with different travel windows depending on the direction of the journey. For flights from the United States to Israel, the listed dates are April 15 to 20, May 19 to 23 and October 6 to 14, 2027. For flights from Israel to the United States, the listed dates are October 25 and 26, 2027. The change concerns the conditions attached to those bookings, rather than a single charge across all U.S. travel dates. The applicable change or cancellation fee depends on the cabin, the fare type and when the passenger requests the change or cancellation. No specific fee amounts or comparison with the previous charges were provided in the report. The November 4 purchase date and the separate 2027 flight dates define different parts of the policy's scope. The update comes ahead of El Al's summer 2027 Americas schedule, which starts in late March. That schedule provides for 63 weekly flights and approximately 35,000 seats a week, including 36 weekly flights serving New York through JFK and Newark, nine to Miami and nine to Los Angeles.
