NTA Schedules Five Nights of Rail Work on HaShalom and HaTayasim Roads

NTA has scheduled five nights of Purple Line light-rail infrastructure work on HaShalom and HaTayasim roads, along the corridor linking Givatayim and eastern Tel Aviv. The work is planned for November 8–12, from 22:00 each evening until 05:00 the following morning, with traffic lanes reduced during those hours. The HaShalom Road section runs between Street 1063 and Oded Street. On HaTayasim Road, the affected section runs between Oded Street and Street 1063. The schedule covers track installation and preparations for the light-rail infrastructure. It describes lane reductions on the two road sections rather than a complete closure of both roads. Drivers using the affected sections overnight may encounter slower traffic and delays, while nearby residents may hear construction equipment during the nighttime shifts. NTA recommends checking Waze for current traffic conditions and routes while the work is under way. These are planned arrangements for the construction period; the first shift is scheduled to begin on Sunday, November 8, at 22:00. The new schedule follows a separate five-night series on the same road sections, reported on November 1 for November 1–5. That earlier series used the same 22:00–05:00 hours. The November 8–12 dates extend the sequence of overnight work into the following week, with the final scheduled shift continuing into Friday morning.
