Cabinet Approves NIS 60M Plan for Nova Survivors

The cabinet on July 5 approved a roughly NIS 60 million 2026-2028 plan to continue rehabilitation and support for survivors of the Hamas-led October 7 parties in the south. About 3,600 survivors are recognized as terror victims, many with long-term physical and psychological harm. The plan, led by the Prime Minister's Office after interministerial work with survivors and professionals, creates one government case-management address, expands family support, addiction intervention, medical and mental-health care, and tailored employment rehabilitation. Israel is turning national memory into responsibility for the young Israelis who endured Hamas's massacre.
