Iris Haim Says Workers Defiled Slain Hostage Son's Kfar Aza Room

Iris Haim said on July 5 that workers used the Kfar Aza room of her son Yotam Haim as a toilet. Yotam was abducted by Hamas from Kfar Aza on October 7 and was later killed by IDF fire after escaping captivity. Haim posted a public video and wrote that contractor workers in the kibbutz's young-families area were responsible, while another October 7 victims' home had a similar report weeks earlier. Israel should rebuild devastated kibbutzim with dignity, oversight and reverence for families carrying the war's wounds.
