Nesher Bus Assault Complaint Prompts Police Probe

Tal Kostika, a pregnant Nesher resident, said an older kippah-wearing man cursed and threatened her near a Line 78 bus stop last Wednesday, then pushed her and struck her in the stomach as she tried to board. She said she photographed the man, called police, was treated at a hospital to check that the pregnancy was unharmed, and filed complaints with police and Egged. Egged expressed regret but said its internal review found the incident occurred at the station, outside the bus, and that her entry was not blocked. Police said the matter remains under review.
