IDF Says Gaza Strikes Killed Islamic Jihad Weapons Official and Hamas Sniper

Israel's military said Thursday evening that strikes in Gaza killed Rashid al-Qachi, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad weapons-production official, and Abdullah Baha al-Din Razak al-Souti, a Hamas sniper. The IDF said al-Qachi was involved in manufacturing and supplying weapons for Islamic Jihad's military wing, while al-Souti operated in Hamas's military arm in northern Gaza. The military said both men's recent activity posed a threat to Israeli forces, so they were targeted from the air in separate strikes.
