Tayibe Home Fire Hospitalizes Mother and Three Children

A Tayibe home fire sent a mother in her 30s and three children to hospitals in central Israel, with emergency officials saying the woman and two 7-year-olds were seriously hurt and a 5-year-old boy was moderately hurt after smoke inhalation. Magen David Adom teams evacuated the four to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba and Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva. Fire and Rescue crews searched the residential building after initial concern another child was trapped; later updates said all trapped residents had been removed and no additional people were found. Police opened an investigation into the cause while senior fire commanders remained at the scene.
