Iranian Missiles Hit Two UAE Tankers in Hormuz, Killing One Crew Member

Iranian cruise missiles struck two UAE-owned oil tankers in the southern lane of the Strait of Hormuz, within Omani territorial waters, the UAE Defense Ministry said. One Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured, including four in serious condition. Fires broke out aboard both vessels and damaged them before crews brought the blazes under control. The ministry called the attack a serious violation of international law and said the UAE retained the right to respond and take necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and security.
