Diaspora and Israeli Teens Gather at RootOne Big Tent Event

RootOne's Big Tent event

Jewish teenagers from North America and Israel gathered in July at Live Park in Rishon LeZion for the first RootOne Big Tent event since 2023. Sources placed the gathering on July 10 or July 12 and attendance between 4,500 and nearly 5,000, with participants from multiple youth and Israel-travel programs meeting Israeli peers, enjoying live music and assembling care packages for children of reservists. President Isaac Herzog addressed the gathering by video, while former Gaza hostage Moran Stella Yanai and musicians Daniel Weiss and Noam Bettan appeared on stage. Organizers said the event was designed to strengthen Jewish peoplehood, friendship and enduring ties between Diaspora youth and Israel.
