Grenade Thrown at Rosh Pina Japanika Branch as Attacks Spread North

Israel Police opened an investigation after a fragmentation grenade was thrown before dawn Wednesday at a Japanika restaurant branch in Rosh Pina. Officers responding to a reported explosion located the scene; no injuries were reported, while property was damaged. Police suspect a criminal dispute and are examining whether the attack belongs to the recent wave against the chain, which has struck branches in Givatayim, Kiryat Ono, Ramat Gan, Netanya, Afula and Herzliya. The new northern attack came after police arrested alleged crime boss Yossi Mosley and three additional suspects in the investigation Tuesday evening.
