Iranian Army Says Seven Soldiers Killed in U.S. Strike Near Iranshahr

Iran's army said seven of its personnel were killed overnight in a U.S. strike on a lodging area near Bampur, outside Iranshahr in southeastern Iran. The army vowed a coordinated and decisive response, saying revenge for those killed was certain and close. The announcement came as U.S. forces continued strikes against Iranian military, missile, drone and air-defense targets after Tehran renewed regional attacks and threatened navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. Central Command said more than 300 targets had been struck across Iran over three nights.
