FBI and Romanian Police Join Japanika Grenade Investigation
An Israeli investigation into grenade attacks on Japanika restaurants has expanded to the United States and Romania, according to new details aired Friday. The FBI reportedly searched the Brooklyn jail cell of alleged crime boss Eran Haya and found concealed mobile phones, while Romanian authorities questioned Eli Mosley after receiving material from Israel Police. Romanian officials reportedly warned Mosley that continued attacks could threaten his businesses there. Israeli investigators also arrested three additional suspects, and a court extended three other suspects' detention by five days over alleged involvement in 13 explosive attacks.
