Iran’s Judiciary Denies American Prisoner Release Claimed by Trump

واکنش قوه قضائیه به ادعای ترامپ درباره زندانی آمریکایی

Iran’s judiciary said no American prisoner, accused spy matching President Donald Trump’s description or other American detainee had been released or exchanged from Iranian prisons. The statement directly contradicted Trump’s announcement that a U.S. citizen detained in 2024 was safely outside Iran and in good condition. Attorney Jared Genser identified the woman as Iranian-American nonprofit director Dena Karari and said she had left Iran for the United States. The White House said securing Americans wrongfully detained or held hostage remains a presidential priority, leaving the release status publicly disputed.
