IDF Intercepts Drone Near Syrian Border Without Activating Alerts

The Israeli Air Force intercepted an unmanned aircraft detected near the Syrian border shortly before the IDF statement. The military said the launch origin was under investigation and did not identify the aircraft's type, operator, flight path or intended target. No alerts were activated under standing policy. The IDF did not report injuries, damage, falling debris, a change to Home Front Command instructions or any additional defensive action after the interception. It also did not say whether the aircraft crossed into Israeli airspace or where along the frontier the interception occurred.
