National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir toured Havat Gilad in Samaria and pledged that homes damaged by Saturday's wildfire would be rebuilt. Police and fire commanders briefed him on an emergency command center for residents and the operation that contained the blaze. Ben Gvir said six firefighting aircraft were deployed, while reserve aircraft stood ready but were not needed. Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan thanked him for coordinating the response and said the community would expand as it rebuilds.
