Israel Sets U.S.-Coordinated Threshold for Any Renewed Iran Campaign

Israel's security and political leadership is converging on a threshold that rules out joining a limited round against Iran, favoring only a broad operation coordinated with the United States. Officials said the current U.S.-Iran exchange serves Israeli interests while weakening Tehran, and Israel has no immediate interest in entering it. The IDF remains at high readiness, maintains daily coordination with U.S. Central Command and has prepared operational options if Washington requests Israel's participation or Iran attacks Israel. Israeli officials said any entry would target high-value objectives prepared in advance rather than a bounded exchange without decisive effect.
